A COUNTRY ON THE BRINK OF COLLAPSE
An estimated 200,000 homes were damaged or destroyed in the recent blast in Beirut, leaving more than 300,000 people homeless.
In addition to the economic crisis, civil unrest and a global pandemic, this year’s winter season is one of the harshest the country has ever seen. Lebanon, which is home to 6.8 million people, including 1.5 million Syrian refugees, is already reeling from a severe economic downturn and facing extreme food shortages with the poorest and most vulnerable hit first.
Prophet Muhammad SAW said: “Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)
Lebanon needs your help.
Currently, we’re coordinating with local partners and working with communities in order to rebuild homes that have been destroyed, we’re also distributing medicine, emergency essentials and hygiene kits to keep the most vulnerable safe during the harsh winter season.

MORE ON THE SITUATION
Hundreds of thousands of people are at risk as Lebanon’s already stretched health and economic infrastructure struggles to cope with all that the country is facing.
More families, including the elderly, vulnerable women and children, face homelessness and starvation as prices for basic necessities continue to skyrocket.
Before the Beirut explosion, the country was experiencing widespread poverty with almost half of the population living below the poverty line. The growing spread of COVID-19 has not helped.
Please help empower local families, and support local hospitals.
